Social Media Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and eager Social Media Strategist to join our team! You will effectively lead multiple projects and be responsible for not only translating marketing objectives into broad social campaign and overall brand strategies, but also be tasked with proficiently managing campaigns throughout all phases of the project — from consumer understanding to creative development and execution. Ultimately, this role will ensure that our paid social media campaigns are both efficient and effective.

  • Oversee all paid social management of current and future locations
  • Organize market level paid social media strategy, incorporating studio level needs and corporate initiatives
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences; keep a pulse on competitors in the space and their implemented tactics
  • Design and implement paid social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and reports on ROI
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
  • Maintain content calendar of planned activity and budget associated with each studio
  • Provide weekly/bi-weekly performance reporting and recommendations for adjusting campaign as needed based on deliverables
  • Measure and communicate success of paid and engagement social initiatives and set quarterly and annual KPIs
  • Assess new options for growth and stay on top of social media trends, design tools and applications
  • Maintain product knowledge for business written through the Agent distribution channel
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years’ experience in online advertising, specifically with paid social media (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Three to five years’ experience with set up, execution and management of social media lead generation ad campaigns
  • Two+ years of budget management experience
  • Previous experience managing $10K+ per month on Facebook/Instagram
  • Knowledge and understanding of paid vs. organic social media strategy
  • Experience working with Facebook Business Suite
  • Understanding of integrated marketing communications and the digital media landscape
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience working with a fast-growing company

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours as needs arise for addressing social media activity, within reason.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Exemption /Expected Hours of Work:  This is an exempt, salary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m. This position may be required to work long hours and weekend on occasion depending on business needs.
